Friday 03/08/2002 -  Displayed above the bill of Daejin’s hat are the folded layers of  a recumbent syncline on the northern side of  Titus Canyon.  The rocks of Titus Canyon have been overturned, so as the road through Titus Canyon is traveled downward in the westward direction, the rock layers become younger and younger.

Friday 03/08/2002 - Within the walls of Titus Canyon,  Marcello observes the calcite that has intruded upon limestone layers.  The inclusions within the calcite are limestone fragments broken off from the country rock.

Friday 03/08/2002 - Chris stands near the western exit of Titus Canyon.  Notice the western dip of the limestone layers.  The layers of the limestone become older going from bottom to top.
