The USGS will support two participants per ANSS supported regional seismic network to NetOpsIII in Menlo Park, CA May 4-5, 2009. Organizations may send additional people (up to the limits of the auditorium) using local funding. Federal employees must be supported from local budgets. Network Operators should provide a list of supported participants to Mitch and to Joyce as soon as possible and no later than March 17.
Supported participants must make their travel and lodging arrangements through the USGS travel agent. Instructions will be forthcoming.
We also request all participants regardless of funding to register with Mitch via email no later than April 3.
Non-federal employees with Workshop travel support will receive instructions for travel arrangements and reimbursements via email from Joyce Costello.
All others should check with their supervisor on making travel arrangements.
Participants should plan on arriving Sunday May 3 for an 8AM start on Monday, and then departing Wednesday May 6 if possible to allow for a full day workshop on Tuesday.
