Center for Earthquake Research and Information (CERI)
CERI at The University of Memphis conducts basic research on earthquakes in the central and eastern US, operates an earthquake monitoring network in the region with its partners, distributes earthquake data, and provides educational and outreach services.

Mid-America Earthquake Center (MAE Center)
The MAE Center is a consortium of eight core institutions comprising one of three national earthquake engineering research centers established by the National Science Foundation.  The MAE Center develops and disseminates new engineering approaches to minimize consequences of future earthquakes across hazard-prone regions, including the Eastern and Central United States.

Central US Earthquake Consortium (CUSEC)
CUSEC is a partnership of the federal government and the seven states most affected by an earthquake in the New Madrid Seismic Zone (Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee). CUSEC serves as a "coordinating hub" for the region, reducting the impact of earthquakes in the Central United States.

St. Louis University Earthquake Center
Part of the Dept. of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, this Center conducts basic research on earthquakes in the central and eastern US, operates an earthquake monitoring network in the region with its partners, distributes earthquake data, and provides educational and outreach services.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)
